The Role

Research market trends, competitor analysis and prepare story boards on direction of the range with Head of Design and Directors.

Benchmarking competitors to support range building.

Work with wider teams to develop product from design concept to final garment approval and technical pack handover for submission to factories/supply base

Participate in range reviews, assessing best and slow sellers

Develop new sources for fabric and trims

Print development

Assess sampling to ensure meets aesthetics and quality accordance to spec. Monitor the development cycle to meet/update the critical path deadlines.

Provide accurate information for costings

Cost management.

The Person Specification

Fashion design experience with minimum 6 years fast fashion and commercial experience

Multi product womenswear experience essential

A creative versatile handwriting with good commercial judgement

Passionate about product.

Ability to manage multiple projects from concept to delivery, and to prioritise working to critical path deadlines.

Self-motivated. A good team player and creative minded.

Highly skilled on CAD.

Who are we looking for?

The successfully appointed Exports Administration Assistant Manager will be responsible for management of daily activities for all International customers ensuring total customer satisfaction. Providing a first class service & administrative support to sales team & offices

Main duties and Responsibilities:

Manage daily activity for customer orders, order input, communicating stock shortages & advising of new delivery dates.
Record customer complaints, oversee that all issues are resolved to customers satisfaction. Identify trends and take action to implement resolution.
Act as an Ambassador for offices and country Managers ensuring first class support and service is maintained at all times
Undertake ongoing consistent robust performance management, through employee engagement, ADR’s and 1-1 sessions.

Import Merchandiser;

The candidate will be working closely with the senior buying manager and looking after a variety of high volume accounts.

1. Liasing with both our suppliers and customers.
Experience with liasing with the Far East is essential.

2. Raising purchase orders, packaging / label orders (care labels, brand labels, price labelling) and dispatching to our suppliers

3. Maintaining the critical path.
An in depth knowledge of the critical path is essential. The merchandiser will be responsible for chasing in lab dips, print strike offs, bulk fabric and sample submissions ( sealer samples /pre-production samples / production samples / press samples)

4. Liasing with our shipping and deliveries department, ensuring that goods arrive are processed and are delivered on time

An excellent knowledge of Excel, Word and e-mail applications is required.
We require an organised individual who is eager to learn and progress within the industry.
Ideally we would like to interview merchandisers with 3/4 years experience who have a good knowledge of the industry and are keen to learn
