We are a chic and exciting online fashion destination for stylish women – and we have an amazing opportunity for someone equally as amazing to join our growing digital team as a Copywriter.

This is what you’ll do:

” Your core role will be to write multiple feature articles each week for our avidly read blog Style News. These are aimed at the customer, not for SEO content purposes
” Pitch article ideas each week for the latest blog posts
” Write monthly articles and content for our monthly customer brochure
” Write monthly products descriptions
” Follow topical celeb & fashion news and put our style into our coverage of it
” Create thumb stopping, headlines & engaging content to increase our social following and inbound traffic
” Write our engagement posts on social media channels; Facebook, Instagram, YouTube & Pinterest, to name a few. (Not paid social)
” Be the written voice of our brand and help us to refine our tone of voice
” Lead our non-paid social media content strategy
” Ensure all content calendars across social are in line with the brand vision and business commercial goals
” Drive innovation and explore all new social media opportunities
” Work with designers to write copy for and create attention grabbing emails
” Other cool stuff!

Who we’re looking for:

We need someone who is creative and self-motivated with a heartfelt passion for writing in a style that’s not only engaging, but with genuine personality & wit. You will have:
” A strong background in writing, ideally in a media/journalism environment
” A writing style that’s energetic, sometimes humorous but most importantly real. We talk to our readers and customers, not at them
” The dynamic ability & talent to write both punchy headlines and shorter phrases to longer articles, press releases & product copy
” The ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing, through both text, video and images. Everyone loves a meme! But you have to understand the need for variety in social media content
” Experience in fashion retail
” Knowledge of social media content strategies
” Analytical skills to draw conclusions from data and sales reports – we know social is super fun, but we still need to make sure we’re engaging with our audience how and when they want to be and looking at the numbers is a key way to check we’re still on track with this
” An enthusiastic and energetic, ‘go the extra mile’ work ethic – do what you love and love what you do
” An excellent attention to detail and quality
” An intuitive grasp of brand and customer

Junior Import Merchandiser – South Manchester

Salary upto £18k

An established and expanding ladieswear fast fashion clothing business now have an exciting new job opportunity for an junior import merchandiser. You will enjoy working alongside a professional knowledgable team on high street accounts.

Role
As the Import Merchandiser you will manage the product life cycle from initial order through to delivery. You will be responsible for speaking to the customers and managing your own accounts. Once the order is placed you will confirm delivery details with the off shore factories and then manage the critical path.
Main Duties
Sending in submissions, chasing approval, critical path, test report and completing BCI tracker once a month – will be trained on the testing if they don’t have experience.

Ideally you will have minimum 1 years experience.

Ladies Knitwear Garment Technologist

A fantastic opportunity for a Knitwear Garment Technologist to join a growing Fashion Supplier. Our client are a established supplier to many key high street accounts and online retailers

Role:

·Work closely with design and product development teams to provide technical guidance regarding size specifications, fabric selection and garment construction.

·Develop fits and blocks for new ranges.

·Review of proto/design samples to ensure that they conform to size and design specifications.

·Organise and attend all fit meetings with customers.

·Prepare Spec and other comments and ensure that all information is effectively communicated to offshore production teams within agreed critical path timescales.

·Manage all aspects of the sealing process critical path.

·Prepare testing requirements schedules and manage testing report critical path.

·Travel to carry out fit meetings with retailers

·Work closely with offshore production teams to ensure that all production meet customers quality standards.

·Resolve quality assurance issues through effective communication with customers and offshore Production teams.

Skills:

·Minimum of 5 years for the Senior Garment Technologist role.

·Knitwear experience.

·Experience working with fashion and Key High Street Accounts

·Strong understanding of garment construction and the manufacturing process as well as grading and fits.

·Attentive to detail and accuracy.

·Highly organised with confident communication and administration skills and ability to manage critical path deadlines.

·Team player who enjoys working under own initiative as well as part of team.
