This is what you’ll do:
- Manage the Ecommerce team, ensuring they follow a customer and data centric approach when updating the website
- Oversee the visual merchandising of the website
- Align ecommerce operations with both online and offline marketing activity
- Work on trading events and calendar with the marketing team
- Create a roadmap for optimisation for the customer journey, identifying barriers, and monitor ecommerce trends
- Report on and analyse website metrics, overall customer engagement and conversion on site to develop future strategies and areas for improvement
- Drive the ecommerce business to achieve yearly targets and KPIs
- Map out and deliver consistently high quality and engaging customer journeys
- Work closely with our external development agency to report bugs and deliver enhancements to the website on an ongoing basis
- Ensure thorough testing of developments take place before and after deployment
- Be the first point of contact within the business for any website issues
- Work with third-party suppliers to implement enhancements to the website, such as referral programmes, email solutions and content management
- Work closely with the Email Campaign Manager to ensure the website is updated and merchandised in line with the email schedule
- Build and manage A/B and MV testing plan to support roadmap with proof of concept
- Be the primary escalation point in ecommerce team for third-party suppliers
- Utilise and interpret GA and session recordings to track KPIs and prioritise areas of focus by making informed decisions
- Conduct regular competitor activity to understand the marketplace and make improvements to the website
- Work closely with buying and merchandising to ensure products go live on time for marketing launches
Who we’re looking for:
We need someone who is creative, analytical and self-motivated with a heartfelt passion for fashion & ecommerce. You will have:
- A strong background in fashion retail ecommerce, with knowledge of ecommerce strategy and tactics
- Analytical skills to draw insight from data–we need to make sure that what we’re doing works, and if it isn’t that we can react and make it work
- An enthusiastic and energetic, ‘go the extra mile’ work ethic – do what you love and love what you do
- Must have extensive experience of Magento platform
- An intuitive approach to ecommerce – always be looking for the next improvement
- An excellent attention to detail and quality – know the website inside out and be the first to spot any potential issues
- An intuitive grasp of brand and customer
