Our Client is an international textiles design lead company. Both purchases and sales are international.

This position will suit a graduate of any discipline. A business / marketing background would be helpful.

The role requires a strategic approach, boundless confidence in communication, both oral and written and an enthusiastic spirit.

There is an opportunity to travel throughout the world and to make a serious contribution in terms of pioneering new markets and opening new collaborations. The company exhibits at major International trade fairs such as Heimtextil in Frankfurt.

An appreciation of design and colour and an awareness of fashion is essential in terms identifying customer requirements.

Training will be provided. This will include the industry specific technicalities, the commercial approach and the business language. You will gain an excellent grounding in the commercial world from within a successful, complicated design lead business that both purchases and sells on a worldwide basis.

Within a short period of time the successful applicant will be given responsibility for specific markets.

You will have a customer base that you will need to engage with and by dialogue and targeting their design and price requirements, you will increase sales. At the same time you will seek to find additional appropriate customers and begin trading with them. In each case you will be the conduit between your customer and our in- house Design Team.
