Social Media Executive

Salary: £22-25K

Main Duties

Creating and managing social media and content marketing strategy, including the ability to orchestrate every detail and measure/report on results. Focusing on creating social media content which connects with customers and drives acquisition and sales.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and manage our social media strategy in line with the business goals and seasonal plans
  • Create and implement social media content across multiple platforms including Facebook and Instagram
  • Measure and analyse the success of campaigns through weekly and monthly reports. Regularly reporting key results and recommendations back to the wider team
  • Work alongside the external media agency to support in creating relevant engaging content in line with current business plans and budget
  • Work with the wider marketing team to produce cohesive tactical cross channel campaigns
  • Undertake general marketing responsibilities as requested by the senior team such as (but not exclusively)- supporting on the affiliate channel, briefing and building email creative, and additional copy requests
  • Propose and implement new initiatives and ideas, staying up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies

Skills and attributes

  • At least 1 to 2 years experience in a fast paced retail company
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Copywriting and content creation
  • Commercial awareness- understanding the importance of product selection and the right marketing message
  • Interest in fashion
  • Self starter with a proven track record of success setting and achieving ambitious goals
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and multi task
  • Attention to detail
  • Team player- willing to help and work closely with the wider team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Google Analytics etc
