Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Merchandiser to join there team in driving commercial success across our product categories. This role will focus on managing sales performance, monitoring stock levels, and assisting with the implementation of effective stock strategies to optimise product availability and profitability.
Sales Analysis & Reporting
Monitor daily, weekly, and seasonal sales performance.
Support in producing regular sales reports and identifying trends or issues in trading.
Assist with forecasting demand based on historical data and market insights.
Stock Management
Track and manage stock levels to ensure the right products are in the right place at the right time.
Monitor stock availability across all channels and flag potential risks such as overstocking or sell-out.
Liaise with logistics, planning, and buying teams to ensure smooth stock flow and timely replenishment.
Range Planning & Product Lifecycle
Support in the creation and management of range plans and product performance reviews.
Assist in managing intake plans, critical path timelines, and product launches.
Work closely with the Buying team on product allocations, rebuys, and markdown planning.
System & Data Management
Maintain product and stock data in internal systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Track stock movement and performance.
Team Support & Communication
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Buying, Supply Chain, and Marketing.
Attend trading meetings.
Support with ad hoc analysis, projects, and seasonal planning activity.
