Role


We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Product Coordinator to join our clients design team.
This role is integral to the product development process, acting as the key link between Design,
Garment Technology and our overseas suppliers.
You will coordinate the approval of fabrics, trims, branding, artwork, packaging and product
components, ensuring all development approvals are completed accurately and on time to support
the seasonal critical path.
Working closely with the Design team, you will manage the day-to-day communication with
suppliers throughout the development process, ensuring factories receive all approved components
and information required to progress products into bulk production.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys organisation, communication and problem-solving, and
wants to play a key role in bringing apparel collections to life.

Key Responsibilities


Component & Packaging Development
• Coordinate the development, sourcing, and approval of all trims, branding labels, and retail
packaging.
• Ensure all packaging and trim items meet cost targets and compliance standards.
Colour, Artwork & Fabric Approvals
• Manage the lab dip process from initial submission to final commercial approval.
• Review and approve strike-off artwork, print placements, and bulk fabric quality.
• Ensure bulk production fabrics match approved standards for handle, weight, and colour
fastness.
• Develop alternative fabric sourcing solutions where needed.
Timeline & Critical Path Management
• Own, update, and manage the production critical path daily to track every stage of
manufacturing.
• Identify potential factory bottlenecks early and implement solutions to prevent delivery
delays.
• Maintain accurate data in internal tracking spreadsheets.
Factory Logistics & Communication
• Maintain daily communication with overseas suppliers and factories regarding order status.
• Ensure factories receive trim and fabric packs ahead of each season to begin development.
Work closely with design on this.

Requirements & Qualifications
• Experience: 3–5 years of experience in fashion production, sourcing, or product
coordination.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of fabric characteristics, lab dip evaluation,
print techniques, and garment construction.
• Systems: Proficiency in Excel and PLM systems is highly desirable.
• Key Skills: Elite organisational skills, sharp attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem solving.

Product Assistant

Ideal candidate will have approx. 12 months experience or a placement year in a product, buying, merchandising or administrative role or experience of working with product samples, product data or range management processes.

Do you have experience in a product, buying, merchandising or administrative role or experience of working with product samples, product data or range management processes?  

If so, we’re looking for a Product Assistant to join our client on a fixed term basis for 12 months.  This is an exciting opportunity to support the development and launch of our seasonal product ranges while building your knowledge of product management and buying.  

You’ll work closely with the category managers, helping to keep product information, samples, pricing and launch activity organised and on track, while gradually taking ownership of a smaller product areas such as accessories and equipment.  

 

The Impact you will have in this role is: 

  • Maintaining accurate product information, range documents, sample trackers and shared team files. 
  • Supporting the management and tracking of product samples, including launch and marker samples. 
  • Assisting with seasonal launch preparation, coordinating product information, CADs and presentation materials. 
  • Preparing and updating pricing information for new, replacement and carry-forward styles. 
  • Supporting range development activities, including product set-up, line lists and action tracking. 
  • Helping to manage product information for swing tickets and marketing bullet points. 
  • Attending meetings, taking notes and ensuring actions are tracked and completed. 
  • Building strong relationships across Product, Design, Buying and Merchandising teams. 
  • Identifying and escalating potential risks, blockers or missing information to ensure deadlines are met. 

Key Responsibilities


Support the Category Managers with day-to-day administration across product
ranges.
Maintain accurate product information, range documents, sample trackers, action logs
and shared team files.
Assist with sample management, including sorting marker samples, tracking launch samples,
identifying missing run-ons and organising temporary samples where required.
Support seasonal launch preparation, including coordinating CADs, product information
and catwalk outfit PowerPoint content across ranges.
Attend key meetings where relevant, taking clear notes and following up on agreed
actions.
Help prepare and update pricing information, including previous price details for run-on
and replacement styles.
Support range development activity, including line list briefing, product set-up, sample
tracking and action management.
Assist with bullets and swing ticket requirements ahead of agreed deadlines.
• Build strong working relationships with Category Managers, design, merchandising and
wider product teams.
• Escalate blockers, missing information.

 

As our future Product Assistant, you will have: 

  • Excellent organisation skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and hit deadlines 
  • Good attention to detail and ability to work accurately with product, pricing and sample information 
  • Confident using PLM, Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint 
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-moving product environment 
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills  
  • Experience working with product ranges, samples, buying, merchandising or retail processes is beneficial.

Mid Level Sportswear Apparel Designer

About the Role

We’re looking for a passionate and commercially minded mid level Performance
Apparel Designer to join our clients growing design team.
Working primarily across Performance Menswear, with opportunities to
work on our Women’s performance product, you’ll help create innovative performance
apparel that blends technical function with contemporary design.

You’ll report directly to the Performance Design Manager and work closely with Buying,
Garment Technology, Product Development and our overseas factories throughout the
product creation process.

Key Responsibilities

• Research seasonal trends, performance innovations, consumer behaviour and
competitor activity.
• Design seasonal performance apparel collections from concept through to final product.
• Create clear CADs, technical sketches and presentation boards.
• Develop colour palettes, fabric direction and trim concepts.
• Produce detailed tech packs for supplier development.
• Work with overseas factories throughout the sampling process.
• Attend fit sessions and update products through each sample stage.
• Develop new silhouettes, construction techniques and functional design details.
• Assist with fabric, trim and component research.
• Ensure products meet commercial objectives whilst maintaining a premium aesthetic.
• Support the Design Manager in preparing seasonal range reviews and presentations.
• Help maintain consistent brand identity across all collections.
• Contribute ideas around innovation, sustainability and new product opportunities.

Essential Requirements

• Degree in Fashion Design, Sportswear Design or similar.
• Approximately 3–5 years’ experience in apparel design within
sportswear/performance/activewear.
• Knowledge of technical fabrications.
• Strong interest in performance, sportswear or outdoor apparel.
• Excellent Adobe Illustrator skills. Photoshop beneficial but not essential
• Good understanding of garment construction.
• Ability to produce high-quality CAD drawings and technical packs.
• Strong eye for proportion, fit and product detailing.
• Experience working directly with overseas suppliers
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills.
• A proactive attitude with willingness to learn.

Job Summary

This role reports to a Lead Product Designer for a specific class of products. It is focused on executing and coordinating product design tasks as part of a wider design team. This may include developing and using specialist garment design skills

Duties and responsibilities

Analysis of customer requirements
Development of design concepts using CAD/ CAM (Gerber & AutoCAD)
Create detailed design drawings using AutoCAD and photography
Participation in design reviews and customer meetings
