Merchandise Admin Assistant

We are seeking a Merchandise Admin Assistant to support our dynamic merchandising team and contribute to the continued growth of our business.

Job Summary:
As a Merchandise Admin Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the merchandising team with administrative and operational tasks. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or further their career in fashion merchandising.  Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Entry & Management: Accurately input and update product data in internal systems, including purchase orders, pricing, stock levels, and product details.
  • Order Management: Assist in the preparation and processing of purchase orders, ensuring they are raised accurately and in a timely manner. Track orders to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Sample Coordination: Coordinate with suppliers and the design team to manage sample requests, ensuring samples are received, labelled, and stored correctly. Organise and prepare samples for meetings and customer presentations.
  • Stock Monitoring: Monitor stock levels and sales performance to support the merchandising team in making informed decisions on stock allocation and replenishment.
  • Report Generation: Assist in generating and distributing regular sales, stock, and order reports. Analyse data to highlight trends and support planning.
  • Communication: Liaise with suppliers, buyers, and internal teams (design, production, merchandise) to ensure smooth execution of the merchandise plan.
  • Admin Support: Provide general administrative support to the merchandising team, including scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and maintaining filing systems.
  • Product Set-Up: Support the product setup process by ensuring accurate product information is uploaded to internal systems and shared with retail partners.
  • Sample Management: Organise and manage the sample library, ensuring all items are appropriately logged, stored, and accessible for the team.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Educational Background: Degree in Fashion, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a fashion environment, retail, or merchandising role is advantageous.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Familiarity with retail or merchandising software is a plus.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple tasks accurately.
  • Organisational Skills: Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively and prioritise workload.
  • Numerical & Analytical Skills: Basic numerical skills for stock management and data analysis.

Import Merchandiser

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Apparel Import Merchandiser to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end import process, coordinating with international suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of products, and maintaining quality standards. This role requires a strong understanding of the fashion industry, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to manage complex supply chains effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Supplier Management:

Develop and maintain strong relationships with international suppliers.

Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts to ensure cost-effective procurement.

 

Order Management:

Coordinate the placement of orders with suppliers and ensure all documentation is accurate and complete.

Monitor order progress, ensuring timely production and shipment.

Manage any changes in order specifications and ensure suppliers adhere to agreed-upon standards.

 

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Collaborate with the design, production, and other internal and external teams to ensure that products meet market demands and brand standards.

Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders regarding order status, product availability, and any potential issues.

 

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain detailed records of all import activities, including invoices, purchase orders, shipping documents, and inspection reports.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Approx. 2 years of experience in import merchandising, preferably within the apparel industry.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel;
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Brands Team Import Merchandiser

Central Manchester Location

1 day a week Hybrid Working and Flexible Working Hours available

Salary dependant on exp £24k – £28k plus Benefits ( advised during initial chat )

We are seeking a highly organised and enthusiastic Merchandiser to join our brands team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing our in-house brands and customer contract orders. This position involves a variety of tasks, including raising internal purchase orders, managing critical paths, and coordinating with various departments to ensure seamless operations.

Key Responsibilites:

Purchase Order Management:

Raise internal purchase orders for both in-house brand stock ranges and customer contract orders on our database.
Keep purchase orders up-to-date with any date, price, and style changes, and ensure factories have these details.

Packaging and Labeling:

Order packaging and barcode stickers from nominated label suppliers (care labels, brand labels, price labelling).
Dispatch labels to our suppliers in the Far East.

Critical Path Management:

Assist the team in managing critical paths by chasing in-lab dips, print strike-offs, bulk fabric, and sample submissions (sealer samples, pre-production samples, production samples, press samples).

Approval and Coordination:

Approve and check barcode layouts and packing lists prior to goods shipping. Coordinate with our photography team to ensure they have garments for photoshoots and that images are up-to-date for the sales team and website.

Sample Management:

Receive and log in new development samples on our database. Maintain our fabric library.

Skills and Qualifications:

Highly organised and competent in managing multiple tasks.
Accurate and detail-oriented in all aspects of work.
Enthusiastic and eager to learn new processes and systems.
Excellent team player with strong communication and coordination skills.

Experience in merchandising or a related field is preferred.

Office based.

Our client is seeking an Import Merchandiser to join there busy merchandising team! you will be proactive and highly organised you will thrive on the challenge of being part of a busy, fast moving department, working in closely with Account Managers, Designers and Garment Technologists as well as with factories in the Far East.

  • Effective management of the critical in path in order to ensure timely deliveries of placed orders

  • Lab dip, strike off and size spec approvals

  • Price negotiations with factories

  • Daily liaison with off-shore sources, predominantly in the Far East

  • Regular communication with internal and external stakeholders, keeping them updated from order placement through to bulk production and final delivery

  • Excellent organisational, communication and IT skills are essential

  • You will be an Import Merchandiser with approx 3 years plus UK experience and have a background in supply of fashion.

Job Description: We are seeking a Garment Technologist to join our dynamic team! you will have minimum 3 years experience.  As a Garment Technologist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, fit, and construction of our garments across various product lines.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct fit sessions and provide feedback on garment fit and construction.
  • Collaborate closely with design, production to ensure garments meet brand standards and customer expectations.
  • Develop and maintain detailed garment specifications, including measurements, construction details, and materials.
  • Review and approve samples, prototypes, and production samples for quality and accuracy.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues that arise during the product development and production process.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, materials, and manufacturing techniques to continually improve garment quality and efficiency.
  • Communicate regularly with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure timely production and delivery of garments.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textiles, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Garment Technologist or similar role in the apparel industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of garment construction and fit principles.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards.
